Job Summary We are searching for a qualified outside sale professional for our office covering the Memphis, TN. area. Our company is part of the Linc Network, (www.lincservice.com), of 160+ HVAC service locations across the globe.

This position is a “hunter" position and will be calling on the top decision makers within a commercial facility to discuss Linc’s ability reduce their owning and operating costs while solving existing comfort and air quality problems. It entails being able to "paint a picture" and becoming a consultant to the "needs" of the customer. We are driven to successful business relationships through value not price!!! We are looking for the same values in our next successful sales representative.

The primary requirement for this position is possessing first call experience. This position conducts phone cold calls and walk in cold calls to commercial customers with the objective of setting a formal meeting with the decision maker of the facility.

The additional job responsibilities include:

Consistent cold call activity at the decision maker level

  • 200 phone calls per week minimum to obtain 5 appointments for the following week

  • Some leads given, but most will need to be self-generated

Executive level presentations

  • Presentations are given at the decision maker level which may include an owner, CEO, CFO, board, etc.

Building financial and life cycle analyses to quantify value from the customer’s perspective

  • Determine the best customer option to reduce their risk and provide stable financial maintenance expenses

Proposal generation and presentation

  • Use software provided to determine financial commitment and detail terms and conditions

    Job Requirements

  • Must possess a demonstrated record of success in selling services or other intangible offerings.

  • Technical knowledge in the HVAC industry is NOT a requirement, however, a mechanical aptitude is helpful.

  • Must be self-disciplined, results driven and accustomed to winning sales awards through consistently high performance.

  • Leadership character along with the desire, ability and skills to manage the entire sales cycle is essential.

  • Your ability to master the skills required for this position can potentially open many new career options across Linc’s various business units.

  • Must possess a Valid Driver’s License

  • Must provide proof of personal insurance
