Kforce Technology Support Administrator in Olive Branch, Mississippi
Kforce is proactively looking for multiple Technology Support Administrators to support the distribution centers of one of our clients in two locations: Memphis, Tennessee (TN) and Olive Branch, Mississippi (MS). These roles are 6-month contracts, with a target start date of late June/early July.Overview:Our ideal candidate is a midlevel Desktop Support consultant who will be responsible for 2nd and 3rd level PC support for all technologies and devices within the distribution center. Our ideal candidate is reliable, responsible, and resourceful, and a true problem solver with a strong dedication to customer service. In this role, you will be managing tickets as they come in and be responsible for analysis, troubleshooting, and resolving issues, and escalating as needed. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and working on the fly to solve tickets. Warehouse experience is not required, but highly preferred. Any knowledge of AS400 mainframes is a plus! Please note, this is a distribution center environment and to complete the job functions, candidates must be able to walk, climb stairs, and carry 50 pounds.
Associate's degree in a Technical or Computer related field of study, or equivalent related experience
3 years of desktop support experience in a corporate or warehouse/distribution center environment
Knowledge of configuration, support, and failure analysis of major OEM (Apple, HP, IBM, Compaq, Dell) desktop systems hardware and peripherals
Understanding of local, client-server, and database application functions and support
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
